Weekly Meditation in Montreuil

The Dana Center offers a regular weekly practice, in the mornings and the evenings. Our teachers regularly give Dharma talks and private interviews. A regular practice enables one to integrate and maintain the Buddhist teachings in everyday life.

Mornings: Tuesday to Friday from 7.30am to 8.20am
Evenings: Tuesday to Thursday from 8pm to 10pm

The center is open throughout the year except during winter and summer breaks (see schedule).

Retreats (sesshins) and Zazenkai

Retreats are intensive practice periods, ranging from thee days to two weeks. They are led by the teachers of the center. It is an opportunity to deepen one's practice. They include sitting and walking meditation pediods, a collective work period (samu), a Dharma talk and a ceremony. Meals are taken together in the zendo, in oryoki. Retreats are silent.

The number of participants is limited, please register in advance for all retreats.

A zazenkai is an intensive day of practice. Zazenkai are led by João Sensei.
